Wyoming (Yellowstone and the Tetons)

Nicknamed 'the dropping'.

Old Faithful
Our schizophrenic moose!

June 16 we had the privilage of going to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. We prayed before entering to see elk (a given), moose, bison (buffalo), and a bear. The Lord was gracious enough to allow us to see them all.

Idaho and Montana

After leaving WA we entered Idaho for a short while before going into Montana. There we stayed with the Herdens.

Washington

Dax and Danny Swanson and Hope.
Isaiah and Melissa Mackler

Mt. St. Helens
The Brewers and the Viljoens
Mt. Rainier
The Benders and the Viljoens
Very first Starbucks

June 11 we arrive in Washington and go see Mt. St. Helens. We also went to the first Starbucks in Pike's Place Market, Seattle. :)

Oregon

We left the Woodfields and travelled to the Quinelli's in Eugene, Oregon.

Goodbye California!

On 9 June, the fatefull day, we said goodbye to the oneighty staff and left L.A. for the Woodfields, and from there, Oregon.

Kauai'i

The landscape of Kauai'i was the most beautiful continuous panorama of deep green trees and aqua-blue water I had ever seen. We tried to make the most of the sunshine (not that there isn't enough in L.A.) and warm water. A lady had asked the tour guide (on the boating trip) if she could please bottle some of the water so that she could show her friends the color!!!
